These terms cover the Fenwix Android application and the fenwix.app website, published by Deepliy. Installing or using Fenwix means you accept them.
1. What Fenwix is
Fenwix is a field inspection, evidence and corrective-action tool. It records what you enter and produces reports from it. It does not perform inspections for you, and it does not certify legal or regulatory compliance of your work.
2. Subscription
Every installation includes 24 hours of free local work. After that, new work (creating, completing, signing, amending inspections) requires an active subscription billed through Google Play at the price shown there. Eligible users may receive a 3-day Pro trial. Existing records remain readable. A free installation may save, share or print one report every 24 hours, while Full Export, backup, restore and verification remain available without an active subscription.
3. Your data, your responsibility
Inspection records live on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups (Full Export) and for the lawful handling of any personal data you capture in your inspections, photos of people, names, site details. Fenwix provides the tools. The data itself, and the responsibility for it, stay with you.
4. Reports and signatures
Reports represent the data recorded at completion time, identified by a report number and revision. Signatures captured in Fenwix are visual signatures, drawn, imported or photographed, and are not qualified electronic signatures. Whether a Fenwix report satisfies a specific legal or contractual requirement is your determination.
5. Verification scope
Report verification compares a report's QR data against the source inspection record on the device that holds it, and rechecks linked evidence files. It does not guarantee that a printed or exported PDF file was never altered elsewhere.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Fenwix to fabricate records, misrepresent inspections that did not take place, or violate the rights of others. Do not attempt to disrupt the website or its forms.
7. Warranty and liability
Fenwix is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable (durable local writes, versioned records, integrity hashes) but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages or data loss. Keep backups.
8. Changes and contact
