Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-15

Fenwix is an Android field inspection application published by Deepliy, and fenwix.app is its website. Different classes of data are handled differently. This policy describes each class separately, matching what the software actually does.

1. Inspection records and responses

Your inspections (answers, notes, findings, corrective actions, report content) are stored in the application's private local storage on your device. Fenwix does not require an account and does not upload your inspection records to a Fenwix-hosted field-data server.

This content leaves your device only when you explicitly share it: generating and sending a PDF, exporting a backup, or attaching content to a support message yourself.

2. Photos, audio, signatures and location

Evidence media captured in the app (photos, audio notes, signatures) is stored on the device alongside the inspection record, with a SHA-256 content hash and capture source recorded for integrity.

If you grant the location permission, GPS coordinates and accuracy are attached to the inspection record on the device. Location is part of the record, not a tracking stream: Fenwix does not maintain a location history service.

3. Support and suggestion messages

When you send a support or suggestion message, in the app or on this site, we receive what you wrote plus the topic you chose and, if you provide it, your email address so we can reply.

In the app, optional device information (model, OS version, app version) is attached only if you consent in the send dialog. If you do not consent, it is not sent.

Website form submissions are stored on our server for handling your request, and are not used for marketing.

4. Diagnostics and product analytics

The app uses crash reporting and product analytics (Google Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics) to understand stability and which features are used. These signals are designed to carry no inspection content: no site names, no asset names, no finding text, no report content, no names of people.

Examples of what is sent: app version, crash traces, coarse feature events such as “a PDF was generated” with its duration.

5. Purchases and billing

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play. Fenwix does not receive or store your payment card details. Google's own privacy policy governs the payment transaction. The app receives only the entitlement state needed to enable new work.

6. Website analytics

The fenwix.app and fenwix.net websites use Google Analytics 4 to measure page-level usage: which pages are visited, in which language, from which campaign, and clicks on outbound store links. Google's measurement sets cookies and processes the data under Google's own privacy terms.

Website analytics carry no inspection content and are never joined with in-app records. We do not send names, form contents or any field data to analytics.

7. Early-access and contact forms

If you join the Fenwix Web early-access list, we store the email address (and optional company name) you submit, and use it only to write to you about Fenwix Web availability. Ask us to remove it at any time via the support form.

8. Sharing and exports you initiate

When you share a PDF via another app (email, WhatsApp, drive storage), that app's handling of the file is governed by its own policies. Fenwix backups are files you hold: store them as carefully as the records they contain.

9. Your choices and contact

You can use the core Solo workflow without any account. You can decline the location permission and still inspect. You can decline device info on support messages. Deleting the app deletes the on-device data. Keep a backup first if you want your archive.

Questions and requests: use the support form on this site or in the app (Settings → Suggestion / Support).

10. Cookies and consent

The only cookies on fenwix.app and fenwix.net come from Google Analytics, and they are set only after you choose Accept in the cookie bar. If you choose Reject, analytics runs without cookies and your visit is not tied to any identifier.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

11. Your data and your requests

Fenwix is built so that field data does not reach us: inspection records live on your device, and the planned enterprise architecture keeps them in storage you control. What we hold is limited to what you send us yourself: support messages and the early-access list.

Write to the support form to read, correct or delete anything you have sent us. Deletion requests are honored without conditions. The access, correction, deletion and objection rights under GDPR and KVKK apply to the data described above.
